During August and September of 2007, our woodturning organization turned some crabapple wood that is from the Fargo Public library just prior to it's demolition for rebuilding.  Here are two vases and a Christmas ornament that I turned and donated:

Here are some mini hollow forms I made in 2004. 
From left to right, front row: ambosia maple, and spalted box elder.
From left to right, back row: russian olive, box elder, and oak burl

 

This short hollow form is about 8 inches side and 4 inches tall.  It is turned from a maple burl.

 

This hollow form is from the same burl as the maple above. 
It is about 5 inches across and 6 inches tall.
