Who We Are: The Minn-Dak Woodturners Association is the greater Fargo-Moorhead Area's chapter of the American Association of
Woodturners. Our membership continues to grow, currently we have approximately 75 members. We have monthly meetings where we exchange ideas, share projects, and learn new techniques from club
members and guest demonstrators.
Visitors are always welcome! Stop in and see who we are and what we do before deciding if you wish to join.
Our next meeting will be: Thursday May 8th 2008 - 7:00 PM Come and watch as Don Wattenhoffer turns a thin walled
goblet from green (fresh cut) wood.
The May meeting will be your last chance to pick up your tools from Toolday if you haven't done so already, so be sure to be there!
Regular season meeting schedule: We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month from September thru May at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at Gene Finneman's painting
shop. Gene's shop is located in the Moorhead Industrial Park. The address is 1802 26th St. South in Moorhead MN (click for a map). Gene's shop is adjacent to Southtowne Storage.
Directions: From I-94, turn north into Moorhead at exit #2 (HWY 52). Proceed north past the Budweiser plant to the industrial
park. Take a left (west) on 20th Ave, then a right on 26th Street. The address for Gene's Paint and Decorating is 1802 26th St South. It is the building just to the north of
Southtowne Storage (on the East side of the road).
