The March 2008 meeting was brought to order by Ryan Hoss and general business was discussed.   Ryan did the demonstration this month, turning a basic bowl.  Here is Ryan with a bowl blank that he has just completed roughing to shape.  Here the shape of the natural edged bowl is being refined.  Ryan next discussed turning a tenon on the foot of the bowl.  The tenon is clamped in the chuck.  He likes to leave a nub on the bottom that will help him later with detailing the foot of the bowl.
