Tom begins turning the foot of the bowl. From there, he starts on the wings of the bowl, working towards the corners of the square blank. Once the bottom side of the bowl is completed, sand the bottom while before turning it around. Here Ron mans a vacuum to keep dust to a minimum. Phil Holtan provides some assistance. Here Tom begins hollowing the bowl. If you have a high speed connection, here is a video where you can see the turning being done on the square "wings" of the bowl.
