A note from our president: First of, I want to thank everyone that participated in Tool Day on Feb 21, 2004. This was truly a successful tool making day! I
especially want to thank our Tool Day Coordinator, Jim McTavish for the excellent organization and planning for the event! It was superb to say the least! We can only imagine the time that he spent along
with others that planned this event, as well as procuring the materials. We surely could not have accomplished what we did if it hadn't been for the planning and work by a few dedicated workers. Also new to
our Tool Day this year, was our turning wood handles needed for the specialty gouges manufacturing during the day. This was accomplished by the wood turning crew set up by Phil Holtan and his crew. If I
have failed to recognize any individual, I must apologize, usually there are those that accomplish so very much and fail to be noticed, yet they are there supporting the organization. I am sorry to say
that I was unable to remain the entire day. It seems that by 3:00 pm my energy had left this old body, and I had to leave. However, I understand that a lot of you stayed late, and did a superb job of
cleaning up the premises. Cliff Storsved |
