The April 2003 meeting was brought to order by Ron Williams.  This evenings topic of discussion was turning alternative materials. 

Howard Rasmusson was our volunteer to demonstrate turning Taugua nuts.  After successfully launching the first couple of nuts off of his faceplate, he started his demo. Here he is turning and hollowing the nuts: photo 01, photo 02, photo 03.	Here are some of Howards finished turnings:
